Our inaugural cohort of Year 7 pupils had the opportunity to meet their teachers and classmates for the first time during an interactive tour of Manchester United Football Club on Wednesday 3rd July. Pupils forged new friendships as they journeyed by coach from Bradford to Manchester, where they had the opportunity to tour the Old Trafford stadium, visit the players’ changing rooms and walk through the players’ tunnel onto the pitch. They also visited the press room, where players are interviewed after games, and the VIP area.
Pupils then moved on to the Manchester United museum, where they saw a myriad of match memorabilia, including the club’s numerous trophies and shirts and football boots worn by some of the team’s star players.
The induction day was the perfect opportunity for our pupils to make new friends and they left feeling very excited about starting school in September.
